Paul Edward Erhard (Bear) (Kato) January 16, 1952 – May 24, 2025 Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church.

Paul passed away at home with his wife Margaret Nellesen-Erhard and his 2 dogs Samantha and Yoda by his side.

Paul was born in Washington DC to Barbara D. Pearmon Nicholson Doremus Mizelle Hightower and George P Erhard who have predeceased him. He is survived by his children, James E (Deanna Begley), Laura D (Charlie) Corbin (IL), Robert M (WI), Jason D (AK), Joshua P (Jenny) (MD), Matthew J (WI), George M and Charles F.

Paul is survived by his grandchildren, Paige (Ross) Vanden Hoogen, Harmonē (Jarret) Long, Anthony, Dee (Trip) Fralick, Asheley Cook, Roxie, Lux, Jackson, Jace, Parker, Emmett (deceased), Wyatt, Silas, Maggie, and two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his half brothers, Carey Nicholson (NC), Stanley Doremus (PA), Kenneth Doremus (AZ), Hugh (Leroy) Mizelle (OH), Sheldon Mizelle (MD) and a deceased half-sister Nancy Mizelle.

Paul was a Vietnam veteran and his last job was helping the Vietnam Veterans with their service connected disability claims before the affects of Agent Orange kept him from working any more.

Paul will be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, June 4, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral Mass Thursday, 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church, 7530 Natural Bridge (Normandy). Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
