Messerly, Richard Lewis Baptized in the hope of Christ's Resurrection, January 12, 2026 at age 74.

Son to the late Benjamin and Mary Jane (Hurley) Messerly Husband of the late Linda Messerly (nee Geil) Proceded in death by his beloved son Shawn Messerly brother of Edward (Joyce) , Judith (Deacon Thomas) Eultgen and John (Jane). Dear brother-in-law, godfather, uncle, great uncle and friend to many in St. Louis and Springfield, Mo.

Richard was employed at the St. Louis County (Main) library for 40 years, and made an annual White House retreatant for more than 35 years. He was a man who loved his Catholic faith, prayed the Rosary and the Station of the Cross each day.

Funeral Mass: Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eureka, MO.
Saturday, January 24 at noon, with visitation starting at 11:00 am.
