Robin Leigh Jung (Hooker), born December 9, 1957, passed from this life on July 19, 2024. Robin is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Tom; her loving children, Nick, Chris, Emily (John), and T.J. (Gretchen); and her cherished grandchildren, Lyla and Willow. She is also remembered by her siblings, Joe and Jane, and a symphony of family, friends, and loved ones.

For Robin, family was everything. She made sure every birthday and holiday were truly special. She passed down traditions from her own childhood and established new ones that will continue for generations to come. She never missed the opportunity to bring those she loved into one room—creating smiles, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

When she passed, many referenced her sweet demeanor and her never-ending strength. She was truly selfless, always putting other's needs above her own. She took care of the people around her, whether family, friends, coworkers, or her students. Her strength was noticeable to all who came to know her. She overcame her obstacles with unmatched courage and grace.

Robin's legacy will forever lie in her children and grandchildren. She lived for her children, loving and protecting them always and raising them to become the kind, compassionate, strong, and hardworking people they are today. She never missed the chance to celebrate her children. She attended every game, recital, and graduation, and she saved every piece of artwork, report card, and school picture. Robin made sure that her children had everything they needed and more.

Although her time with her grandchildren was cut too short, she loved them with all her heart, and we know she is caring for them, as she did her own children, in Heaven. Her legacy will live on as her traditions continue and as the memories she created, and her selfless love and strength are shared.

Robin passed away suddenly after being diagnosed with cancer in early July. She was surrounded by the love of family and friends in her final days on Earth. We are consoled knowing that she is healed and at peace watching over each of us and that she is being cared for by the Lord.

We welcome all as we celebrate the life of Robin Leigh Jung (Hooker) on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd 63074 (St. Ann). The visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with a small ceremony to follow.
