Ronald Arthur Poweleit September 3, 1939 December 3, 2021. Born in Campbell County, Kentucky to Ida Seifried Poweleit and Arthur Poweleit. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Margaret (Peggy) Stranko and son, Tommy Poweleit. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Joyce (Udeen) and his sisters: Fay Racke of Alexandria, Kentucky Janice Brickler of Arlington, Texas Jody Torres of Lancaster, Pennsylvania A brother, Michael Poweleit of Cincinnati, Ohio Granddaughter, Tracie Poweleit, Gautier,Mississippi Two great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Ronnie began working for Trans World Airlines at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as an airline mechanic eventually moving to St. Louis, Missouri where he retired as an aircraft inspector. Along with being a mechanic, Ronnie enjoyed excavating and plumbing. He was always building something or working on a project. There was very little Ronnie could not do with his hands. He was ahead of his time at repurposing items and could always find a great bargain! After retirement Ronnie enjoyed traveling with his wife and would often pop in to see family and friends in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area as well as his family in Texas. Ronnie was a devoted husband and a close friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Memorials to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org

Visitation Monday, December 13, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 North Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann), then process to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for a committal at 11:30 AM.
