Obituary

Weiss, Ronald W. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, April 25, 2026. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Weiss (nee Winka); dearest father of Joe Weiss; loving grandfather of Joey Elizabeth Weiss; loving brother of Robert (Cathy) Weiss, Donald (Patricia) Weiss, Linda Weiss, and the late Gerald Weiss; brother-in-law of Dan (Myrna) Winka and the late George (Louise) Winka; our dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Ron married Mary Ann on Sept. 23, 1972 in St. Louis, MO and they shared their lives for almost 54 years. They had one son, Joseph and three years ago a beautiful granddaughter, Joey Elizabeth. It was a joy for Ron to hold her and watch her experience different things and see the excitement in her eyes and the smile on her face. Also, the family dogs were faithful companions to Ron.

Through the years, Ron enjoyed being involved in activities with his son, Joe. Family meals and holidays were always special times to share and talk. Ron enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard, day trips with his wife, family vacations and visiting out of town family in South Carolina. Ron never missed an opportunity to reach out and stay connected to his family and friends.

Ron honorably served his country with the United States Army as a Sargent and was stationed in Germany.

After a 43-year career in the telephone industry, he retired from ATT.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
