Sergio Michael Zegar, 51, of St. Louis, passed away on September 2nd, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

Sergio is the beloved Son of Ernestine Bazan-Zegar and the late Mike Zegar, dear father of Jonathan Sultzman, Kayla Ricketts, Sophia, Mateo, Irma, and Jesus Zegar. Brother of Christina Zegar, Linda Pedroza, Maribel Zegar, and Irma Jara, and Grandfather to Emma and Olivia Negrete.

Born in Chicago, IL, to Ernestine Bazan-Zegar and Mike Zegar on December 15th, 1969. Business owner of SMZ Roofing and lifelong resident of St. Louis, Missouri. A devoted friend, a spiritual man, a true businessman, and a father of many. Sergio loved his many dogs, to cook all the holiday meals, and play the guitar for anyone he met. You will never meet anyone who left Sergio's home without being fed, hearing some amateur karaoke, having a great laugh, and feeling surrounded by love. Sergio will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and anyone who knew him.

Services for Sergio will be held at Collier's Funeral Home from 1pm - 8pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, located at 3400 North Lindbergh Blvd. Saint Ann, MO 63074. On Wednesday, September 8, 2021 we are meeting at 8:30am at Colliers for a precession to Our Lady of Guadalupe at 10am, located at 1115 S. Florissant Rd., St.Louis, MO 63121. After mass another precession will lead to the cemetery for burial. Lastly, we will come together for food and fellowship at Acapulco.
