Carver
Nov 7, 1937 — May 13, 2021
Carver, Stephanie
Stephanie Carver (nee: Vitale), born 11/7/1937, daughter of Mary Vitale (nee: Calcagno) and Steve Vitale, passed away peacefully to heaven in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 13th.
Stephanie was a dear and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her children James L. Mulholland III, Kathleen A. Mulholland, Stephen T. Mulholland, Phyllis M. Thompson, Helen E. Craig and Karen L. Mulholland; her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons Paul R. Mulholland and Michael J. Mulholland; granddaughter, Lauren M. Mulholland and grandson Steven T. Mulholland; her siblings, Fara Vitale, Josephine Buffa (nee: Nicolosi), Genevieve Self (nee: Nicolosi) and Rosalia Nicolosi; her brothers-in-law Joseph Buffa and Floyd Self.
She grew up in the Central West End and attended Rosati Kain High-School before moving to North St. Louis County. Stephanie was a force to be reckoned with to be sure. She had a bright and fun loving personality and everyone was drawn to her good nature. Stephanie loved celebrating her Italian heritage and visited The Hill often, was a fantastic cook herself, and loved her family above all else. She was also a devoted fan of our St. Louis Baseball Cardinals.
Stephanie worked as a Secretary for the City of Bridgeton for 42 years. She volunteered for and was Chairperson of the Bridgeton Senior Citizen Coordinating Committee. She was also the extraordinary salesperson for their Meals on Wheels program. Even after her retirement, she was still a beloved fixture and would bring joy with each visit.
She touched many lives during her time here and will be sorrowfully missed
