Beloved father of Clinton J. Nagel (the late Connie Eastman) and Stefanie A. Toler (Brian Wells); dear son of the late Joan S. Weimer and Kenneth H. Nagel Sr.; former spouse of Jane Alexander; brother of Sue A. Wiser, the late Debra L. Nagel and Kenneth H. Nagel Jr.; grandfather of Bradley Terry, Alexander (Mary Kate) Toler, Gracie Toler, Alexa Toler, and Sr. Kateri Toler; great grandfather of Emma M. Toler; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Steve was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, United States Army. Steve also gave many years of service to his community as a member of the Lincoln, Nebraska Air Traffic Control and 911 Dispatch. He also worked with the Hazelwood Fire Department and Department of Defense in St. Louis, MO.

Graveside Honors service on Friday, January 21, 2022, 11:00 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Steve's granddaughter has dedicated her life to serving others through Jesus at the Marian Sisters. The sisters serve in various apostolates of education, health care, and social work.
