Susan Marie Beckman
October 30th 1966 – December 21st 2024
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette (Tabaka) Beckman, Sydney Beckman and beloved nephew Nick Junger.
Sue is survived by her sisters Dianne (Beckman) Milton (Robert), Julie Beckman, friend Thomas Reed, many loving relatives and countless friends.
Sue was born and raised in St Louis County, MO. She was a 1985 graduate of Pattonville High School. Being an outgoing, upbeat, person with a great sense of humor, she made many lifelong friendships. She also enjoyed being a member of the volleyball team.
Sue began a successful career in sales, selling shoes at Dillard's in Northwest Plaza. Later, she became the manager of a Naturalizer store.
Over the years she sold many types of goods and services, including information technology packages and related support.
First and foremost, Sue loved animals. Over the course of her lifetime, she was a loving mother to 4 dogs and 3 cats. Sue also enjoyed playing cards, video and board games. She loved thunderstorms, scary movies, Seinfeld, and pulling funny pranks.
A talented vocalist, Sue never passed up the opportunity to compete in karaoke. Music was such an important part of her life, listening to everything from country to hip hop. But in Sue's eyes, no one could hold a candle to Steve Perry and band Journey.
Having a huge heart filled with love, compassion, and friendship, she never met a stranger. Sue was beautiful, inside and out. We are blessed to have her in our lives and her light will shine within us forever.
Throughout her life, she held tightly to her faith in Jesus. We take comfort knowing Sue is now an angel, flying free in God's heavenly kingdom.
