60, passed Thursday, August 27, 2026, peacefully at home in Saint Peters, MO. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Hallowell) Barnett; his son, James Barnett; his brothers, Bruce and Gregory Barnett; and his sister, Gail (Barnett) Baker. Tad is also survived by a large, loving group of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Tad dedicated more than 20 years to Missouri American Water as a fleet mechanic and member of the Utility Workers Union of America Local 335. He was a kindhearted, supportive, and loving husband, father, family member, co-worker, friend, and neighbor.

Visitation September 3rd from 4-8 pm at Collier’s Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd (St. Ann). Funeral Service Friday, September 4th, 10:00 AM at Collier's Funeral home.
