Her spirit was reunited with her high school sweetheart, James Traube, and husband of 68 years who preceded her in death the year prior.

Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, Theresa was the daughter of John A. and Norma B. Tuchschmidt, who were entrepreneurs of many small businesses.  A humble beginning that would shape her compassionate and nurturing nature throughout her life. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School and embarked on a journey of love with her late husband, a journey that spanned nearly seven decades and left an indelible mark on generations.

Theresa devoted her life to her faith and family, embracing roles of a dedicated housewife, nurturing mother, and steadfast homemaker. She was the heart and soul of the household, filling every day with love, grace, and unwavering faith. A devout Catholic, she found solace in prayer, cultivating a deep and constant connection with God. Her unwavering faith was evident to all who knew her, and she lived every moment in preparation for her eternal reunion with her Creator.

Theresa was beautiful, inside and out. Her life's challenges were met with resilience and a zest for life that was truly inspiring. Her radiant spirit shone brightly, drawing people close with her warmth and kindness. Her love for life extended to moments spent at Hollywood Casino with family and friends, working in her garden, watching the birds at the bird-feeders, as well as time spent watching Wheel of Fortune, Hazel, and Andy Griffith, cherishing every opportunity for excitement, humor, and joy.

Beyond her beauty and zest for life, Theresa was a gifted storyteller. She had an uncanny memory that delighted her family and friends. Her tales, woven with humor and vivid detail, captivated all who listened, leaving a lasting imprint of laughter and joy. In perfect harmony with her sense of humor, Theresa was also a pillar of strength for her family, hosting the annual Christmas Eve party that brought the whole family together in a tapestry of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She cherished every moment spent with her large family, including six children, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Her love knew no bounds, and her impact on each and every one of them was immeasurable. Her presence was a guiding light, and her wisdom and love created a legacy that will endure for generations to come.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, reunited in the loving embrace of her husband and in the presence of her beloved God.
