Trudee LouAnne Bicket (nee Schaaf), Born April 21st, 1939, passed on to her reward and entered the Kingdom of Heaven April 4th, 2025, at her home, with her family by her side. Daughter of Clifford and Harriett Schaaf (dec.) Sister of Clifford Schaaf Jr. (dec.), Married to James Michael Bicket Sr. (dec.) for 41 years. Mother of James Michael Bicket Jr. (Janet, Nichole, Anthony, Adriana, Preston & Alexandra) and Kathleen Cheshire (Jeff & Michael)
A faithful and devoted servant of the Lord, and a shining example of his perfect handiwork, our sweet Mom spent her life serving others in a long and varied musical career that commenced with piano lessons at age 10. An accomplished organist, pianist and choral musician who taught both privately and publicly, she taught private lessons most of her life, was a public-school music educator for 26 years and served in the music department of several church families for more than 50 years. She had a far-reaching and long-lasting influence on countless students, colleagues and friends and amplified her talents by sharing her optimism and infectious love of music with others.
A fiercely devoted and resolute wife and mother, she loved her family without measure and worked tirelessly on their behalf. Well-traveled and well-educated, she was a prolific diarist, whose musings and recollections we cherish even now.
