Miriam Virginia Godat (nee Parker) passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 100 years old. She was born on September 8, 1921 to Virginia Parker (nee Haley) and Walter R. Parker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer B. Godat and her son Dale L. Godat. She is survived by her son David L. Godat as well as grandchildren, great children, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Virginia always looked at life with positivity even during darker times. She stayed active as long as she could, having worked until well into her 90s. Virginia's passion for life was contagious and she loved being a mother to her two boys.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday November 11, 2021 at 11AM at Calvary Cemetery. Procession from Collier's Funeral Home will be leaving at 10:30 AM.
